The Voice and Body Effects‘ System, shortly VaBe-System®, is a complete coaching concept that has been developed and patented by Elena Tecchiati. It considers communication factors that influence each other and are aimed to improve the personal development and to reach personal goals in life.

VaBe-System® can be used in order to: 

  • Help to design and frame successful presentations and speeches
  • To communicate effectively in your system
  • To achieve awareness of the effect you have on others and to optimize it
  • To achieve more self-confidence

Factors that are taken into consideration:

  • Posture and body language (nonverbal communication)

  • Voice qualitiy (paraverbal communication)
  • Breathing techniques
  • Articulation and speech technique

Background of the VaBe-System®

These are the most important assumptions in this method:

  • Behind every communication situation there is a purpose
  • We form the reality in our communication
  • Our voice exudes more messages than just the verbal message we say
  • You can train your voice depending on your goals and purposes
  • You can train the coherent and harmonious interaction between voice and body
  • Everybody learns the most about him/herself comparing self-perception and how others see him/her
  • Body language has a weakening or intensifying action on feelings
  • Emotions, moods and motivation are related
  • Nonverbal and paraverbal communication have influence on the the communication partner (listener) and on the speaker
  • Every communication situation is reflexive: words have influence on the speaker and on the communication partner
  • You cannot not communicate (by Watzlawick)
  • People want to be taken into consideration when you talk to them
